The Freyas celebrate a broader vision of what storytelling can achieve through film and television.

While celebrating excellence in creative talent, industry achievement, and commercial success, The Freyas also recognizes the power of film and television to transcend borders, bridge cultural differences, and foster greater understanding between people of different cultures, faiths, and perspectives.

The Freyas champions stories and creative professionals whose work reaches beyond entertainment, bringing different worlds closer together, encouraging cross-cultural collaboration, and contributing to a more understanding, inclusive, and peaceful world.

Alongside outstanding Nordic and Hollywood productions, the awards seek to spotlight exceptional international work and the people behind it, and also professionals whose creative contributions help shape a more sustainable future.

The Freyas – Nordic Film & TV Awards is an annual meeting place for the audiovisual industry and its international partners, bringing together leading creative talent, industry professionals, and influential voices from around the world to promote cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.
