Joonas Nurmi

Joonas Nurmi is a Finnish entrepreneur, public speaker and visionary.

 

Nurmi is focused on strengthening the region’s global profile across travel, culture and the creative industries. He is also committed to supporting the Nordic film and audiovisual sector, encouraging new creative initiatives and helping attract more international productions and audiovisual projects to the Nordic region.

Nurmi is one of the original initiators and co-creators of the Nordic gala, contributing to its founding vision and international perspective.

 

He remains involved primarily in a non-operational capacity, supporting the initiative from behind the scenes as an advisor and connector. His role focuses on the vision, international relationships and creating connections between the Nordics and the global creative community, while the day-to-day development and execution of the gala is led by its operational team.
