Roosa Toivonen is a Finnish film and television producer with a career spanning more than three decades across development, production, and international financing. Known for championing ambitious European storytelling with global potential, she has worked extensively across film, television drama, and international co-productions.

Beyond producing, Toivonen has held key industry leadership roles. She served as Chief Creative Officer at Aurora Studios and has been involved in managing the Finnish Impact Film Fund, focusing on financing and developing internationally competitive projects. She has also been instrumental in strengthening the Nordic film ecosystem through initiatives such as the industry platform Finnish Film Affair and by supporting Helsinki’s historic arthouse cinema Cinema Orion.

Toivonen’s work sits at the intersection of creative development, international partnerships, and film financing. She continues to develop and produce projects across Europe through collaborations with companies including Happy Go Lucky, Good Hand Production, and Fireframe Studios, focusing on stories that combine strong artistic vision with international audience appeal.
